The coldest temperature of my life!

The temperature now is about -27º :)))

Cold!

Now we have lots of snow and frozen lakes:)

Kaamos!Polar Night!

Kaamos is a Finnish word meaning the period of winter darkness in Lapland. The polar night is the night lasting more than 24 hours, usually inside the polar circles.

Eight days ago was the beginning of Kaamos in Utsjoki.

Utsjoki is located in Lapland and it is the northernmost municipality of Finland. In the next three months this polar night will reach the arctic circle.



We will have people living in the night during three months.

Nordic Opening 2005!Lapland-Kuusamo-Lapónia!

Today I'm going to take a night train to Kuusamo. The Nordic Opening 2005 will be there.
